This is the home of Eva and Gentry Dayton in Brooklyn. I first saw these images in Rum magazine few months ago and fell in love with it (love, love LOVE the vintage Harley Davidson in the living room). Eva runs the store Eva Gentry in Brooklyn, stocking clothes and accessories from the likes of Helmut Lang, Maison Martin Margiela and Thakoon. Together Eva and Gentry work on designing interiors, Helmut Lang´s New York showroom being one of their recent projects.
The fourth issue of Est magazine is just out, featuring yours truly. The magazine is, as always, packed with interesting features, examples of styling of the highest rate, plus beautiful images (check out pages 57-70 for fantastic images shot by my friend and colleague, Trine Thorsen).
Virgin white walls, floors and ceilings are the ideal background for stunning artwork and furnitures such as an vintage Swan and Hans Wegner´s Y-chairs.
Through my work as a stylist, I get a change to work with some great photographers, photographers who more often than not, end up becoming great friends. One of them is Heida, a natural talent if there ever was one. Do have a look at her website, there are some really beautiful images to be found there.
