The April issue of Bo Bedre Denmark is out, with a feature I did on the beautiful home of one of Iceland´s best interior architects, Rut Káradottir. It was love at first sight when Rut set her well trained eyes on the house and although the house, originally built in 1968, needed some extreme makeover to fit the taste and needs of the family, Rut immediately saw its huge potential. Today, modern elements, so characteristic of Rut´s work, entwine beautifully with more traditional, even rustic elements found in the choice of furniture and objects d´art throughout the two-storey family home, giving the otherwise ultra-modern home, a warm and embracing ambiance. The feature has also appeared in the Nowegian issue of Bo Bedre, February issue, where one of the photographs, shot by the very talented Trine Thorsen, graced the front page.
