Dutch felt artist Paula Leen lives in Akkrum, a village in the Dutch province of Friesland. Reclaimed wood, steel, natural colors and Paula´s stunning work set the tone for this unique home. Love the house´s rawness and love, love, love Paula´s work.
Paula found the floor lamp in a second hand store and sanded it to achieve the worn look. She then added her own design, a rough felt lampshade in wool and silk.
Paula´s design, a tablecloth made of antique lace and wool, sits on an old captain´s stool.
